Booking Your Flight Ticket

- We recommend purchasing the flight ticket once you have received your Single-Entry Visa (SEV) for SEV-required countries in case there are any delays in the visa approval process.
- Please note that Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1 (KLIA) and Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2) are the only official entry points for international students.
- New students may enter Malaysia no earlier than two (2) weeks before the orientation date.

Apply for Single Entry Visa (SEV) or e-Visa
- Students from SEV-required countries can refer to the official list here:
https://visa.educationmalaysia.gov.my/guidelines/sev-required-countries.html - Some nationalities are exempted, while others may be eligible for a E-visa.
- Travelling to Malaysia without the required SEV or e-Visa may cause complications during your student visa endorsement process.
- We strongly advise you to check with the Malaysian Embassy or High Commission in your home country (or the nearest one) for the most accurate visa requirements.
Download EMGS Mobile Apps
- Once downloaded, please complete the Pre-Entry Checklist in the app to notify EMGS of your arrival details.
- Upon arrival, the EMGS International Student Arrival Centre (ISAC) team will be available to assist you at the airport.
- For more information, kindly refer to the official EMGS guidelines.
Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC)
The MDAC is required for the following students:
- New students who have obtained a Visa Approval Letter (VAL) and are entering Malaysia for the first time
- Mobility students with a study duration of less than three (3) months, entering on a Social Visit Pass
Important notes:
- The MDAC can be completed as early as 3 days before your arrival.
- Detailed guidance is available on the official MDAC website.

3. Intensive English Programme (IEP) 5,600.00 - All payments must be made via Flywire through UniApps.
- Kindly ensure that the payment is completed in full during the registration process to secure your enrolment.
- Note: The IEP fee of RM5,600.00 is applicable only for students who are required to complete the Intensive English Programme (IEP) before commencing their main programme.

Student Arrival e-Form
Kindly complete the Student Arrival e-Form by providing the required arrival and travel information. This helps us prepare for your arrival and provide timely support.
Important Document Checklist
Please ensure you carry the following documents in your hand luggage:
- Printed copy of e-Visa Approval Letter (eVAL)
- Single Entry Visa (SEV) / e-Visa, if applicable, including payment receipts
- Proof of Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) completion
- Original passport (valid for at least 18 months before expiry)
- Academic certificates, passport-sized photographs, medical information, and spare photocopies of your passport
- Printed copy of Offer Letter and Acceptance of Offer Letter
- Proof of fee payments
- Sufficient cash (preferably MYR or USD; currency exchange services are available at the airport)
- Important contact numbers
- Yellow Fever Certificate, if applicable
